Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you wanted to know about Turkey–UK part load freight

What is partial load freight and when is it the right choice?
Partial load (groupage) means your cargo travels in the same trailer alongside cargo from other customers. It is the most cost-effective option when your shipment is too small to fill a full trailer. We handle anything from a single pallet to several pallets on our scheduled lines.
Which Turkish cities do you depart from?
Our scheduled trailer lines run from Istanbul, Bursa, Izmir and Ankara. We also pick up cargo from other locations in Turkey and consolidate it at our hub before dispatch.
What is the transit time?
Part load transit time between Turkey and the UK is on average 7–10 working days, depending on route and customs processing. Speedy Van service can deliver UK / Spain–Turkey within 72 hours.
Do you handle customs clearance?
Yes. Our 24/7 customs office at Dover and AEO-aligned operation across UK ports handle CDS import and export declarations, T1 transit, GVMS GMRs and EORI applications. First-time importers and exporters get free pre-clearance advisory.
Can my textile cargo be transported as hanging garments?
Yes. Hanging garment transport is available on both our part load and full load services. Just mention it when you describe the cargo.
Do you carry hazardous (ADR) cargo?
Yes, with the appropriate documentation. Share the IMO class and UN number of your cargo and we'll confirm suitability quickly.
Do you offer warehousing?
Yes. We operate both bonded and standard warehouses with flexible short or long-term storage options. Stock tracking, order-based outbound and UK-wide distribution can be planned together.
What do I need to send for a quote?
Cargo type, weight, volume (m³ or pallet count), origin and destination, and your target delivery date. Send these via the contact form and the operations team will reply with a quote the same day.
